MHIE appoints Mr. Nobuo Imai as General Manager of the Environmental Division
Spain

As part of our continuing effort to contribute towards the protection of the environment and following three consecutive orders of FGD-Flue Gas Desulfurization, MHIE has strengthened its Madrid office with the appointment of Mr Nobuo Imai, who has become the General Manager of our Environmental Division from March 1st, 2007.

MHIE Increases it's supply of Gas Turbines

MHI has supplied its Gas Turbines to three Combined Cycle Power Plants. The following plants began operating during 2006:

  • ELECTRABEL Plant, 800 MW for Castelnou (Teruel city)
  • ENDESA Plant, 400 MW for Colón (Huelva city)
  • AES Plant, 1200 MW for Cartagena (Murcia city)

MHI will also manufacture three more gas turbines, providing a total of 1.350MW for the new Electrabel plant in Morata de Tajuña (Madrid). This plant is expected to start operating from December 2009.

MHIE designa a Mr. Nobuo Imai como Director de la division de Medio Ambiente

Después de recibir 3 pedidos consecutivos de proyectos de desulfuración, MHI en su interés por contribuir a la protección del medio ambiente, ha reforzado nuestra oficina en España designando a Nobuo Imai como "Director de la Division de Medio Ambiente", desde primeros de marzo de 2007.

MHIE incrementa el suministro de turbinas de gas

MHI ha suministrado turbinas de gas a 3 plantas de ciclo combinado que empezaron sus operaciones en el año 2006:

  • ELECTRABEL, 800 MW para su planta de Castelnou (Teruel)

MHI recibe un pedido de Iberdrola, una de las principales eléctricas en España, para un sistema de desulfuración a gran escala

MHI, conjuntamente con Mitsubishi Corporation y Duro Felguera, S.A., fabricante líder español de maquinaria pesada, han recibido conjuntamente este segundo pedido de Iberdrola. Se espera su instalación en la planta de Lada (Asturias), para Julio de 2009. Este último pedido hace un total de 10 unidades pedidas a MHI en España.

MHIE appoint new Planning and Marketing Manager

MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES EUROPE, LTD has appointed Mr Masayasu Kondo as their new Planning and Marketing Manager for all European territories.

Mr Kondo has worked for MHI since 1991 and took up this new position in January this year, having moved from the Global Strategic Planning and Operations Headquarters after working for three years in Munich, Germany as Sales Manager for the Industrial Machinery division. He succeeds Mr Mori who retired in December 2006.
