MITSUBISHI CONFIRM ATTENDANCE AT IPEX 2010

Mitsubishi to Promote ‘Net Production

Nets Profits’ at  Ipex 2010

Hiroshima, Japan . . . Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), together with its European subsidiary Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe – Printing Machinery Division (MHIE-PPD),  confirmed its participation at Ipex 2010.  In addition to promoting the company’s full line of sheet-fed and commercial web offset presses at the NEC Birmingham venue, Mitsubishi will also provide visitors an insight into the means for maximizing press production time, minimizing press downtime, and delivering high value-added printed products.

One means for reaching these goals is the Diamond Color Navigator, now available in versions for the company’s line of both sheet-fed and commercial web offset presses.  This revolutionary color-adjustment system allows press operators to carry out precise color adjustments based on their own intuitive color perception.  Mitsubishi’s award-winning system implements adjustments simultaneously to achieve the desired color match, unlike the conventional and time-consuming method of inputting adjustments at individual color units.

The DIAMOND V3000LX straight press for thin to thick stock along with the unique DIAMOND V3000TP tandem perfector will serve as corner stones in promoting Mitsubishi’s line of sheet-fed offset presses.  The Mitsubishi DIAMOND 16MAX+ represents the company’s newest achievements in commercial web offset presses and comes equipped with a number of standard features designed specifically to boost production in short and long runs.  Graphics and video presentations will be available on these and other press models.

In addition to giving a sneak previews of its new Production and Quality Maintenance Programs and LED drying system for B1-sized presses, Mitsubishi also plans to utilize the world’s largest English-speaking graphic arts exhibition venue to introduce its new press sales and service distributor for the UK and Eire.
